Burna Boy
American rapper Rick Ross has revealed his dream collaborations, naming reggae legend Bob Marley, Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, Afrobeats star Burna Boy, and iconic singer Sade.
Speaking on a recent livestream, Ross expressed his admiration for the artists, stating that a collaboration with them would be “king-level” and “next level”.
He explained that bringing together the Jamaican reggae legend, the Afrobeat pioneer, the Afrobeats star, and the iconic Nigerian-British singer would create a unique sound.
“If I had a dream collaboration right now, it would be Rick Ross, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti and Burna Boy. Imagine such a record. To me, that’s king-level. That’s next level,” he said.
Ross specifically mentioned that if he had his way, he would also love to include Sade in the project, saying “I am the boss but I don’t know if I could get Sade to collaborate with me. I will put that on the wish list. I love Sade. Salute queen”. Nation
