For popular content creator, Idris Osu better known as Mr. Quin Comedy, his story is relatively like that of some others who went through hell and back to become household names.
In this interview with the publisher of SOLIDNEWSNG,COM Online Magazine’s, AZUH LILIAN, Mr. Quin a native of Nasarawa state talks about how he started off as a wheel barrow pusher then to becoming a labourer, Okada rider , conductor, footballer and now a professional painter and content creator.
He also made mention of his fashion sense as well as other issues.

For how long have you been doing comedy skit?
Although I started with tribal movie in 2009, I fully started comedy skit in 2019.
How did you come about the name, Mr. Quin and what does it mean?
I’m using Quin in respect of my grandmother, a woman that gave birth to my father. She’s the queen of my village community and she loves me so much, but she’s late now. So I’m using Quin to keep her in my memory.
What stands you out from the other skit makers?
Mr.Quin comedy is unique. I can play any role in acting and can also change my voice to like four different sounds
What’s the idea behind your Dangote comedy costume?
I have a lot of costumes. But this particular Dangote wear came from a dream I had. I was like let me try it and see what will be the outcome because sometimes dreams come to reality.
Does comedy skit making come easy for you?
Not at all, it’s very difficult.
What motivates and inspires you as an entertainer?
It started when I was in Primary 2. I like music and movie videos. So whenever I watch people on the screen I feel like being among them. My passion for entertainment is a hundred per cent.

It’s fun, to make people smile, laugh and be happy.

John Okafor ( Mr.ibu), Osofia, Charles Inojie, Akpororo, Brain jotter and late Sam Loco Efe.
What is the greatest lesson life has taught you?
It’s a very long story, because life has taught me so many things.
I have pushed wheel barrow in Nyanya and Karu market in Abuja, I did labourer work for years. I drove okada (commercial bikeman) for three years, worked with an Abuja urban mass transportation as a conductor and at some point, I tried football, electrician and now I am a professional painter and content creator.
What’s the most important thing to you right now?
My work and my God gifted talent comedy and to be doing well all over the world.

To be a great man

I’m an easy going person, friendly and loves to help others grow too

I’m an indigene of Kana Obagu ikpe’, Nasarawa local government, Nasarawa State, Nigeria
What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion is a way of life; it brings or add value to a person’s life.
Which is your favorite; Corporate or Native Attires and why?
I don’t have favourite on that, I go with any of them depending on where I am going to or headed.
What is your favorite color and why?
My favorite color is red, because I am a Manchester United fan
What does style mean to you?
It’s a way of creating new pattern

Being alive, strong and healthy

To focus on my career
What is your favorite food and drinks?
Egusi soup served with pounded yam and any soft drink
How do you relax?
I relax at home or chill out with friends.

Shirts
Who is your best dressed Nigerian man and why?
P-Square, because they dress very well and every outfit looks good on them.
Who are the people in the world you would love to meet?
People like Bill Clinton, Aluko Dangote, P-Square, 2-Face, Davido, Mr.Ibu, Wizkid, Olamide, Obi Cubana, E-money, Don-Jazzy, Joe Bide, Phino among many others.
Let’s get to know you better?
I am from Nasarawa State in the middle belt Nigeria and I ‘m based in Masaka Karu local government area of Nasarawa state. I am also a professional painter.
I obtained my fist school leaving certificate at L.E.A phase 2 Primary school, Nyanya Abuja in 2000, then, Government Day Secondary School Bwari, Abuja 2006. I then obtained my National Diploma in Public Administration at Unipoly Jos, 2017.
