Veteran Nollywood actress, Ngozi Nwosu, has appealed to Nigerians for financial support to raise ₦30 million for three urgent life-saving surgeries, saying she has been hospitalised for three weeks and can no longer cope with the cost of her treatment.
The actress made the appeal in an emotional video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, where she pleaded with her fans, family and colleagues not to abandon her as she battles her illness.
“My people, my fans and my family, I know that you’ve not seen me in circulation for some time. I’ve been hospitalised now for three weeks. Please, the thing has gone beyond my control,” she said.
A visibly emotional Nwosu added, “I need your help. Don’t let me die. I know that you people never forsake me… I’m begging you, my fans and family, don’t let me die because I am going through a lot, as in pain.” Punch
