Argentina produced one of the all-time great World Cup comebacks to fight back from two goals down to eliminate Egypt.
Enzo Fernandez headed Argentina in front in added time, after first Cristian Romero and then Lionel Messi had dragged the world champions back into the game.
Egypt struck when Yasser Ibrahim headed home and looked to be on course for a famous victory when Mostafa Ziko doubled their advantage in the second half.
But Argentina then scored three goals to somehow snatch the win, with Messi’s his eighth of the tournament to move him clear in the Golden Boot standings, after he earlier saw a penalty saved.
