Peller
Lagos-based TikTok star and livestreamer Hamzat Habeeb, otherwise known as Peller, has been hospitalised after intentionally crashing his car during a live broadcast on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the incident unfolded on Sunday during a viral livestream he titled “RIP Peller.”
Peller, who was alone in his newly purchased Mercedes-Benz, showed signs of distress while also speaking emotionally on a phone call, reportedly with his girlfriend, Jarvis, amid speculations of a breakup.
During the livestream, Peller said, “I will use this car and have an accident right now,” followed by, “I’m scared. I’m scared.”
In another shocking moment, he reportedly stated, “If you leave me, people will mock me… Thank you, I’m going to kill myself.”
The livestream showed him eventually driving off before crashing his vehicle into a stone barrier, causing significant damage.
A separate clip showed bystanders rushing to help Peller at the scene before he was conveyed to a hospital. Punch
