Filmmaker and actor Kayode Peters Adewumi has passed away on June 28, 2025 after a long illness.
Adewumi’s family announced his death in a statement on the deceased official Instagram page, describing him as a kind, warm and generous person who touched many lives through his work.
The statement reads: “It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Kayode Peters Adewumi, who passed on peacefully this morning June 28, 2025 in Toronto, Canada.“KP, a cherished son, husband, father, brother, and friend, a gifted film maker, actor and producer whose work inspired many.
