The entire Nollywood is currently agog and reverberating for the world premiere of American Japa, tomorrow, Friday, August 30, at the upscale Filmhouse Cinema tucked inside The Palms Mall, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The talk-of-the-town premiere, which begins at 5pm, holds amid glitz, glamour and razzmatazz.

According to Angel Ufuoma, the cerebral actress and co-producer of the star- studded movie: “American Japa boasts and parades a stellar cast comprising some of the biggest names and brightest minds in Nollywood. They brought their wealth of experience as seasoned and trusted role interpreters to bear on this fast paced and gripping movie that chronicles the lives of two desperate women and their unending hustle out of the ghetto,” disclosed Ufuoma, who also mesmerised in the big budget movie.
Among the heavyweights that dazzled and thrilled movie buffs, especially lovers of quality movies in American Japa, include: Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola, Kanayo O.Kanayo, Bolanle Ninalowo and Segun Arinze.

Other leading lights that sensationally serenaded film lovers in American Japa are: Jide Kosoko, Wunmi Toriola, Yemi Blaq, Tina Amuziam, Jumoke Odetola, Lizzy Jay and Ronke Oshodi-Oke.
American Japa, which hits cinemas globally on September 6, 2024, was written and directed by veteran filmmaker Tony Abulu, who also doubles as its executive producer.
