Billionaire industrialist and Chairman of the Eleganza Group of Companies, Rasaq Okoya, recently celebrated a double milestone with his wife, Folashade. The couple marked their 25th wedding anniversary alongside Folashade’s 47th birthday on Thursday.
Folashade, a mother of four, has demonstrated her business acumen by serving as a director in various companies under the Eleganza Group. She is not only a successful businesswoman but also actively involved in philanthropic activities.
One of her notable contributions is sponsoring the Folashade Okoya Kids Cup, which was launched in December 2014 in partnership with the Lagos State Grassroots Soccer Association.
In addition to her professional and philanthropic endeavors, Folashade holds several titles, including Bewaji of Lagos, Otun Aare Iyalaje of Ajiranland, Yeye Oge of Epe Land, Ajisewa of Oke Ona Egba, and Patron of the Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria.
The anniversary celebration attracted congratulatory messages from prominent figures, including Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who extended his best wishes to Folashade on her 47th birthday.
