Tell us all about Olaedo Daniels and her family background?
My name is Ola Daniels (Olaedo Daniels). I’m from the family of Ehiemere where I lived with my parents and my siblings, 5 girls and 4 boys.
What makes a good actress?
I believe what makes a good actress is the ability to display your character in a way people will relate to and in a way in which people will believe it’s not just an act and also the ability to read and understand your lines correctly and also act it out perfectly.
For how long have you been in the movie industry?
I have been in the movie industry for 4 years.
Why did you choose to be an actress?
It was more of something I wanted to try out because people kept saying I would be really good in acting, so I decided to try it out and it turns out I’m really good at it.
How has been an actress impacted on your life?
Being an actress has impacted many things in my life in so many ways, however just to mention a few, it helped build my confidence, it helped me understand more lessons about life from the different storylines given to me to portray.
Which of your movies would you say actually made you a household name?
I think the movie that made me a household name was the movie titled ‘Love At Lies” produced by Uchenna Mbunabo.
What separates you from your colleagues?
I can’t really say because we all work together but I think what people love most about me when it comes to displaying my character are my intonation and facial expressions.
Like how many movies have you starred in this year?
I cannot really tell but approximately I think it should be around 20 or more
So, what inspired you going into music and what kind of music do you play?
Music is something I love so much and singing makes me really happy. So I sing for God. I sing gospel music precisely.
Aside acting and singing, what other thing are you into?
I’m also into politics, and sometimes treat patients
Talking about Nollywood movies, like how many movies have you starred in since your arrival?
I would say more than a hundred movies
What do you like most about being famous?
What I like most about being famous is the opportunities I get either work related or not
Tell us about your sojourn in politics?
My stay in politics was a really great one and a very wide opportunity for me to meet the most of the great women in politics, it is a big honour
Which among your numerous movies appeal to you most?
I would say my own movie, ‘Iniquity’ because it teaches a great lesson and talks about the gospel

I am from Abia State
Do you speak Igbo language fluently?
Yes, I’m very fluent in Igbo language.

Genevieve Nnaji and Shaffy Bello.
What is your favorite dress style?
My favourite dress style would be a shirt and a Denim or pants trouser
What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion means a lot to me because it’s a way people express themselves to others
Can you recollect the last time you wore a suit and what was the occasion?
That was four years ago. I went for a church program in Christ Embassy
What does style mean to you?
Style can be said to be people’s own choice in accessories, clothing, color of clothing and more
What is your favourite colour and why?
My favourite color is black because I feel like the color black brings out my colour and makes me feel elegant
What is your favourite food?
My favourite food is Chicken and Chips with tomatoes ketchup
How about drinks?
I love Chapman and Bailey’s cream

My best fashion accessory should be my jewelries
In what way has marriage influenced your life as an actress?
Being married practically stops me from taking certain roles in the movie industry because I need to respect my marriage and not let my profession hinder it
You are looking sexy, sweet and prettier; what is the secret?
Jesus is the secret I’m looking good because he is taking care of me
What are the things that gives you joy?
Singing, praying among others, just to mention a few

I’m Olaedo Daniels, I’m a gospel artiste, a Nollywood actress. I am from Abia State, got married to a man who is also from Abia State, Arochukwu local government area.
I am the former chairperson of Arochukwu LGA. I have four lovely children and a caring husband.
I am a bold, courageous woman who never gives up and works hard to achieve her dreams.
Why did you drop your husband’s name, ‘Kalu’ for Daniels?
I didn’t drop my husband’s name because his name is Daniel Kalu, and we all answer Daniel.
You like adorning weird afro-hairstyles always; any reason(s)?
There are specific reasons for my afro hairstyles, it’s just my style.
