Prince Emeka Obasi, the publisher of Hallmark Newspaper and the founder of Zik Award, is dead. He died on, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at a Lagos Hospital.
The Abia State born award winning Journalist and former Commissioner for Information, in Abia State, died at the age of 58. He had been battling a health challenge for the past eight years.
Emeka Obasi is the founder of several Newspapers including ‘National Mirror’, which he later sold to Jimoh Ibrahim and he’s also the Executive Secretary of Public Policy Research and Analysis Centre (PPRAC), organisers of the Zik Prize in Leadership Award.
He is survived by his darling wife, (Dr) Mrs, Betty Obasi and four Children.
