I’m a graduate of UNN. University of Nigeria, Nsukka
What is the name of your brand?
Le-culture fashion and design
How long have you been in the fashion industry?
Its dates back since 2005 but I started professionally in 2008
Did you have any formal training?
Yes, I did a one year course at Yaba Tech
What was the duration, how long did it take you to master the art of fashion designing?
It has been a talent to me but I still studied for one year.
What’s style to you?
Style is an art, one’s personality.
As a fashion designer, what styles are in vogue?
The styles in vogue are contemporary styles and corset cutting
For a young person that wants to go into this business, what kind of advice would you give?
First off, one must have passion for fashion before going for a formal training.
How affordable are your charges?
They are very much affordable.
Who is your best dressed Nigerian woman and why?
I love Mo Abudu and Toyin Saraki, they wear timeless piece, they don’t wear trending wears but they stick to their own looks.
Do you make clothes for men too?
Yes, definitely.
Are you happy doing this job?
Yes, I am very passionate about it.
What should a man have in his wardrobe?
A pair of suits, jeans and T-shirts, classic shoes etc.
What distinguishes Le-culture from the other designers?
We are very unique; we stand out enriching other brands with amazing looks.
What is your dream for Le-culture brand?
I would love us to go international, setting up every home with one classic wear from our brand.

What are the three things people don’t know about you?
I am a very private person, shy and a very good cook.

What makes a good fashion designer?
Creativity, the ability of exploring so many options
How lucrative is the fashion business?
It’s very lucrative, because people can’t really do without stylish needs
Do you cut and sew, or you have people that do that for you?
I actually cut and sew, but still have people who do that for me.
What is your favorite fashion accessory?
Wristwatches, a nice pair of shoes, designers spectacles etc
At the moment what colors would you say are in for the season?
A good vibrant color like magenta, royal blue etc
What are the essentials things a man of style must have?
A good perfume, a pair of shoes, wristwatches, colourful wardrobe filled with all kinds of good wears.
Why do you choose to be a man of fashion?
I just can’t see myself without it and it gives me a great deal of joy to see someone looking nice.
What do you like most about being a fashion designer?
I love the concept of creating new wonderful looks, it’s actually very nice.
What is your favorite food?
Tea and bread

I only relax when I want to sleep.
What is the best way to overcome challenges in business?
Challenges will always come but just be focused and be consistent.

Don’t put your trust in any man
