The iconic US martial artist and actor, Chuck Norris, has passed away at the age of 86.
The family of the “Walker, Texas Ranger” star announced his death on social media on Friday, saying he had left a lasting impact on millions worldwide.
Norris, who turned 86 last week, reportedly fell ill on Thursday on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.
His family stated that he lived his life with faith, purpose, and kindness, inspiring many through his work and discipline.
The statement read, “It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.“To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength.
