This print fabric is known as “Mkpe’ Kere’ Azu’ ” in igbo language, which literally means “Fish Skin” in English language.
Is usually worn by the Igbos women on Sundays for their traditional/village meetings. The (Mpke’ Kere’ Azu’ ) fabric, goes with a white blouse, two wrappers and a matching headgear. But lately the young generation now use this particular fabric to make different styles like: Tops, dresses, skirts and more! Nothing attracts attention like a VINTAGE PRINT OUTFIT.
