Why did you join politics?
I needed a platform to contribute my quota to my country; to help in changing the narrative of politics in Nigeria, and also making sure the Nigerian youth and women are well represented in the table of decision makers. We have been oppressed by bad leaders and if we don’t get involved to change the abnormalities it will continue and never change.
How do you combine acting and politics?
In all honesty, it is pretty tough. I haven’t paid attention to my acting career in years and my last feature was in 2018 before the covid and 2022 when I launched out my political career with the FCT area Council elections. After that, I have been politically active as I am currently a political appointee in the FCT AMAC LGA. So, I have been pretty much busy but I have a few Nollywood projects to handle. Soon, I will be back in a grand style by God’s grace.
What is your general assessment of politics?
Unfortunately, I will assess it very poor. We got it wrong in 2023 when the worse of all was announced winner. It has obviously shown in its governance renewed poverty. We are working so hard to correct it in 2027 and by God’s grace, Nigeria will rise and shine.
