A House of Representatives committee says terrorists have threatened to bomb the national assembly.
Garba Muhammad, chairman of the committee on internal security of the national assembly, spoke during a public hearing on Tuesday.
The hearing was organised to consider a bill seeking to establish the legislative security directorate in the national assembly, which will outline the qualifications and conditions of service for the sergeant-at-arms and other personnel.
As alarming as this information is, Nigerian prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele, had warned about a bomb attack in Abuja some months ago. In a video released on his social media pages, the prophet called on security operatives to pay close attention to security issues, as there will be a bomb attack somewhere close to the Presidential Villa.
In two different prophecies, he was seen leading prayers at his church, and as usual of him, he rolled out prophecies at intervals, which included the warning to security operatives.
In one of the prophecies, he mentioned that there is a plan to bomb Abuja, while specifically urging the Department of State Services (DSS) to work on it.
These were his words:
“There is a plan to bomb Abuja; the DSS should work on it, and the government should pay attention.”
In the second video, where he spoke in Yoruba, he asked security agencies to mark his words because there could be a bomb attack somewhere very close to Villa.
These were his words:
“I want to warn security agencies, very close to the Villa, there can be a bomb attack, very close to the villa, mark my words”
As the prophet said, the bomb threat received in the national assembly is already fulfilling the prophecy of Primate Ayodele. The national assembly is almost a stone’s throw from the Presidential villa. Both are located in the Three Arms Zone in Abuja, along with the Supreme Court, due to their location at the base of Aso Rock.
This is not just to celebrate the prophet for his several warnings that have been coming to pass, but to call on security agents to be extra vigilant, especially in Abuja.
