I’m an OND Holder
What makes a good actress?
The reasons for me being a good actress is the fact that I’m natural, talented and professional when it comes to my acting skills. I have worked with a lot of producers and indeed they were pleased to work with me.
How long have you been in the movie industry?
I came into the industry in 2009 but it only lasted two years. Tragedy befall me. I became a single mother and I needed to care for my children so I left the industry. I just returned after Covid 19, so if you add it up, let’s say five years.

I’ll describe Queen Okafor as a straight forward, humble and disciplined woman.
How do you rate the Nigerian movie industry?
I will rate the Nigerian 8/10 because the Nigerian movie industry digs deep into our culture. Some of the story lines talk about real life issues and the industry indeed has improved in spreading meaningful messages across the country through acting.
What is your favourite accessory?
My favorite fashion accessories are sunglasses and wristwatches with simple earrings.
What is the greatest thing God has done for you?
The greatest thing God has done for me is to keep me and my children alive most importantly and make provision for us.
What is the most important thing to you right now?
My children and my health.
What does style mean to you?
Style is more or less a person’s choice or preference but I will rather say elegance.

I’m a single mother
Which is the most memorable role you have interpreted and why?
The most memorable role I have played is in a movie titled, ‘Royal Desire,’ I played the role of a queen and it sure made me feel like a real queen.
Who are your movie icons?
I don’t really have any one but every good actor inspires me.
Which is the worst role you have played?
All my roles have been awesome and I am yet to experience worst roles.
What is the greatest lesson life has taught you?
It is to focus on myself more rather than others and equally learn not to trust people.
How many movies have you featured in?
I have lost count because I have featured in a lot of movies.
Who are your close friends and what does friendship mean to you?
I do not have a best friend, I just have friends. To me, friendship is all about loyalty and honesty. It is all about having each other’s back in times of distress not necessarily financial times only but emotionally too.

My happy moments are whenever I am happy.
What is the most important thing to you right now?
Making money and taking care of my children.
How many awards do you have to your credit?
I have not gotten awards, yet but I’m looking forward to attaining one.

I cannot remember last time I wore a suit. It has been a while

I love native attires because it speaks more culture and I’m fully rooted in culture.

Porridge unripe plantain and beans

Purple, black and white and because they go with anything

I love watching foreign movies with a glass of wine.

Jeans trouser and leggings and tops

Simplicity and an outstanding mode of dressing
Can you tell us the three beauty products that you can’t live without and why?
They are my facial white powder, body lotion and perfume. My reasons are quite obvious. It helps in maintaining my daily look

I’ll go with lip-gloss
Who is your best dressed Nigerian woman and why?
I do not have a best dressed Nigerian woman. I’m in love with good styles and any woman that dresses decent and mature is a go for me
Where is the most fantastic place you have been to recently?
I haven’t travelled to any place of recent.

Just simplicity with details
What is your advice for those up and coming actors who see you as a role model?
I tell them to keep pushing, keep being consistent because one day it will definitely pay off and most importantly put God first.
What is the secret behind your youthful looks?
It’s pretty simple; good dieting and exercise
What is the highest amount you have spent on a fashion item?
N200,000 and that was on a foreign lace attire
What is your philosophy of life?
Live right, be kind, and never offend people on purpose because karma is real. Be one with God and most of all; take care of yourself because we only live once.

My foreign wears

Understanding and commitment
Do you love heels or flat?
I love flat shoes.
What is the biggest challenge in Nollywood?
Nollywood, has been a clique thing. The industry wants you to join a clique for you to be carried along, for you to survive. But the thing is that you can always survive without clique. This clique most times tends to be evil. Before you know it, you will be convinced to do things you don’t want to do and if you are feeble minded, you don’t believe in yourself, you don’t have faith in God, you will fall.

A complimentary card, a face wipe, and few make-up accessories

No, I don’t have any regrets.
What are your hobbies?
Swimming, listening to music and acting
What do you cherish most about life?
It is the fact that God has given me a chance to become a better version of myself on a daily basis and the fact that God blessed me with three beautiful children.

Being of good conduct in terms of attitude, manner of speech, the way you approach people and being able to approach people and being able to influence people positively with your lifestyle.

It would be my marital status.

I have three grown up kids. I don’t smoke and I don’t keep close friends.
